To make photography
 
an art again 

& not just another photo.

I remember being in a darkroom in middle school & loved seeing images come to life after a long process of mixing potions & timing everything just right. Snapping a button at the most precise moment, making sure the symmetry, the lighting, the moods were perfect & then awaiting to see what you saw, come to life. It was breathtaking & was a sort of comfort to me as a kid. I don't know why it has taken me so long to share my passions & create a summary of what I have been up to & what I intend to continue doing...

I have three rescued off the streets of Houston, dog-children. Big family equals lots of love & weird sporadic friends equals even more love. Associate degrees are cool, I have one of those & expired certificates of random things. Learning is fun, so I will continue to do so in any way I can.  I am fluent in small increments of six or so languages & fashion is swell. I wouldn't be who I am if not for the first two sentences. If I lost all material things in a fire, my camera would be what I saved...to take photos of the fire of course.

I have begun somewhat of a collection or series of photos. Themed projects using different methods & techniques of photography is my way of still getting to be creative & collaborate with some of the most amazing artistic people. Obstacles are just another way of pushing me over the edge to try harder, & believe me I have had my fair share. 

Technology is infinitely changing & I 

intend to keep things 

simple & beautiful. 

I never stop learning & hope to inspire others to never give up on their dreams & continue to release that inner child imagination.
